White Ganesha Indian Mask – Handmade Wall Decoration from Odisha
This papier-mâché wall mask depicts Ganesha, the elephant-headed Hindu god, invoked as the protector of new beginnings and a symbol of wisdom, luck, and prosperity. In a soft, luminous white hue, it is the entry-level piece of the Kiff Kiff Ganesha mask collection, crafted in Odisha using traditional Indian papier-mâché techniques.
Crafted from papier-mâché using the technique practiced in the Odisha region, this mask is born from a long artisanal process: sculpting the base, layering paper pulp, natural drying, and then entirely hand-painting. The white finish requires particular attention, with every shade needing to remain uniform across the entire relief.
No two pieces are strictly identical; the slight variations in relief and finish are the signature of this entirely manual work.
