Who are we?
Behind KIFF KIFF is us: Alex and Thomas, two enthusiasts of decoration, creation, and world craftsmanship. For over twenty years, we have evolved in the worlds of design, decoration, concept stores, and collection creation. Today, we put this experience at the service of a project that reflects who we are: a free, curious, and deeply human brand.
A story of travels and encounters
KIFF KIFF was born from a simple belief: the most inspiring objects are often those that tell a story.
Through our travels and discoveries, we seek out artisans, family workshops, and sometimes little-known expertise. We spend time on site, observe techniques, discover materials, and interact with those who perpetuate these trades passed down through generations.
Our work is not just about buying products. We look for objects that have a soul, a history, an identity. Creations that bear the mark of the hand that shaped them.
Valuing craftsmanship and expertise
At KIFF KIFF, we deeply believe in the value of artisan work.
Every piece of jewelry, mirror, ex-voto, mask, or decorative object we select is the result of expertise, manufacturing time, and a culture that we believe is essential to preserve.
We work as directly as possible with artisans and workshops to foster a sustainable, transparent, and respectful relationship. Our goal is to contribute to the valorization of trades sometimes weakened by industrial production and globalization.
Whether it's the ancestral Dhokra technique in Odisha, hammered metalwork in New Delhi, Indian papier-mâché, or other traditional crafts, we strive to highlight expertise that deserves to be known and passed on.
A unique and borderless selection
The KIFF KIFF universe is intentionally eclectic.
We love to mix influences, eras, and cultures. An artisanal wall decoration can sit alongside traditional Indian jewelry, a bohemian mirror, or a contemporary creation designed in our workshop.
This diversity is part of our identity. We don't follow trends; we prefer to tell stories through the objects we choose.
Our original creations
KIFF KIFF is also a creative playground.
We design our own collections, draw some objects in collaboration with our partner workshops, and develop original creations inspired by our travels and our graphic universe.
Embroidered cannetille brooches, quirky stationery, decorative objects, mirrors, or exclusive collections: we love to create freely and explore new territories.
