Green Leopard Wall Mask – Handmade Paper Mâché from Odisha
This wall mask depicts a green leopard, a deeper, botanical hue reminiscent of the dense jungles of Odisha, in contrast to the clean, graphic rendering of the white version. It's a strong piece, more organic and immersive in a wall composition.
Each leopard mask is born from ancestral craftsmanship practiced in the Odisha region: a hand-carved base, several layers of paper pulp applied and naturally dried, then entirely hand-painted by the artisan.
Each piece shows subtle variations in color and texture, proof of the artisan's entirely manual work.
