Jatayu yellow black beak wall mask – Handcrafted papier-mâché from Odisha
This mask depicts Jatayu, the sacred eagle from the Ramayana, with a mustard yellow body and a bold black beak, a warm and graphic combination.
This mask is made using traditional craftsmanship from Odisha: each piece is first sculpted, then built layer by layer using naturally dried papier-mâché, before being hand-painted by the artisan.
Each mask retains small color and finish singularities, a signature of handmade work.
