Jatayu White with Yellow Beak Wall Mask – Handcrafted Odisha Paper Mâché
This mask depicts Jatayu, the sacred eagle from the Ramayana, with a white body and a golden yellow beak, which softens the contrast compared to the black-beaked versions in the collection, for a brighter look.
This mask is made using a traditional craft from Odisha: each piece is first sculpted, then built layer by layer using naturally dried paper mâché, before being painted entirely by hand by the artisan.
This softer shade varies slightly from one piece to another, as is typical for any item crafted entirely by hand.
