This wall mask depicts Jambaban, a figure associated with wisdom and protection in Indian tradition. Crafted from papier-mâché using the technique practiced in the Odisha region, this mask is the result of a long artisanal process: sculpting the base, layering paper pulp, natural drying, and then entirely hand-painting.
