White and Blue Jambaban Wall Mask – Handcrafted Paper Mache from Odisha
This wall mask depicts Jambaban, a figure associated with wisdom and protection in Indian tradition. Its white and blue version, the most minimalist of the three available colors, brings a more soothing and refined energy than the yellow-green or yellow-blue versions in the collection.
Crafted from paper mache using the technique practiced in the Odisha region, this mask is born from a long artisanal process: sculpting the base, layering paper pulp, natural drying, and then entirely hand-painting.
No two pieces are strictly identical, with slight variations in relief and finish being the signature of this entirely manual work.
