The Alfred model is the most refined ex-voto heart in the collection: an entirely gilded sacred heart in relief, framed by a scalloped casing adorned with chiseled dots and structured foliage at the top. Unlike Betty or Trixie, there is no accent color, but a more pronounced relief work that makes it a sober and assertive gilded wall heart.
Alfred's metal is cut and then hammered in a single piece before being chiseled point by point. This one-piece technique gives the surface a slightly different tension from one example to another: a brighter reflection here, a slightly deeper line there. A wall ex-voto whose apparent sobriety reveals its handcrafted quality when viewed up close.
