Leela Brass Necklace – Dhokra Disc Long Necklace
Leela is the most graphic and airy long brass necklace in the collection: flat round Dhokra brass discs regularly spaced along a thin black cord, with small golden beads between each disc to mark the rhythm. Where Sita and Aruna play on the density of the bib, Leela plays on emptiness. The space between the discs is part of the design.
The discs are cast flat using the Dhokra technique, then drilled for stringing. Their surface shows the slight mold marks characteristic of lost-wax casting: a non-smooth, slightly granular surface that catches the light differently depending on the angle. At 56 cm, Leela falls just below the décolletage, making it the most versatile brass necklace in the range, suitable for everyday wear as well as a casual evening outfit.

How to wear it
Leela is a good entry point into Dhokra brass jewelry. Its discreet format allows you to test the style before moving on to a more assertive bib like Aruna or Devi.
