A stone, a character

The red-orange stone takes center stage on this model: its oval shape and warm hue make it the visual signature of the bracelet. Around it, the metal, worked into fine parallel grooves, adds relief without distracting from the stone.

The bracelet has an approximate inner diameter of 6 cm. It can be slightly adjusted by gentle pressure, to adapt more easily to the wrist. We recommend not exerting excessive pressure to preserve the shape and integrity of the bracelet.

The work of Nuristan artisans

In the villages of this mountainous region of northeastern Afghanistan, the striated filigree technique is passed down from master to apprentice, gesture after gesture. Setting a single stone in the center of such a thin band requires particular precision: the slightest deviation would be immediately visible on such a refined surface.

This demanding standard results in small irregularities inherent in manual work, which alone can give this clean, unadorned finish. No machine can reproduce this gesture.

It is crafted from German silver, an artisanal alloy that can oxidize slightly over time, particularly when in contact with skin, humidity, or cosmetics. This patina is part of the charm of the piece; it is a sign of a living object, not a defect.
