Indus Valley Tribal Earrings – Afghan Handmade

A pair of earrings in the pure spirit of tribal jewelry from the Indus Valley, inspired by traditional ornaments worn in this region between Afghanistan and the Indian subcontinent.

We had this pair specially made by an Afghan artisan based in Islamabad, following the traditional techniques and aesthetics of tribal jewelry from this region. Each earring is handcrafted, giving it an authentic character and a unique presence.

With their beautiful dimensions of approximately 7 cm in length and 1.8 cm in width, these earrings are particularly elegant and immediately add character to an outfit. They complement a bohemian style as well as an ethnic, oriental, or contemporary look.

Their design is directly inspired by the world of tribal jewelry from Central Asia and the Indus Valley: intricate shapes, decorative motifs, and a handcrafted feel give this pair a true personality.

Important regarding German silver

The term "German silver" here refers to a metal alloy used in the artisanal manufacture of jewelry.

Despite its name, German silver is not sterling silver and has nothing to do with 925 silver. It is therefore not a piece of genuine silver jewelry.

Care tips

To best preserve the appearance of the metal, we recommend not swimming with the earrings and not wearing them in the shower, bath, or pool.

Also avoid contact with water, sea, chlorine, excessive perspiration, perfume, creams, oils, cosmetic products, and chemical products.

After use, store the earrings in a dry place, ideally in a pouch or jewelry box. Also avoid leaving them in a humid bathroom.

These earrings are handmade. Manual work means that each piece may have small differences in shape, finish, dimensions, or details.
